Our Approach to Sharing Prehistoric Knowledge

Every article we publish undergoes a structured review process. Our contributors cross-reference fossil data, consult peer-reviewed studies, and collaborate with field researchers. We prioritize transparency by citing sources and explaining the limitations of current evidence. This ensures our readers receive well-contextualized information about dinosaur biology, ecology, and extinction theories.

How We Build Our Content

  • 01

    Topic Selection

We choose subjects that spark curiosity and align with recent scientific discoveries.

  • 02

    Research & Verification

Our team dives into academic papers and fossil databases for accurate data.

  • 03

    Writing & Illustration

Writers craft clear narratives while artists reconstruct dinosaurs based on evidence.

  • 04

    Review & Publication

Editors check for factual consistency before content goes live on our platform.

The People of Jurassic Journal

Jurassic Journal was founded by a group of paleontology graduates and science educators who wanted to make dinosaur science accessible. Our contributors include field paleontologists, museum curators, and scientific illustrators. We have experience excavating fossils in the Gobi Desert, studying bone histology in labs, and teaching university courses. Our diverse expertise allows us to cover topics from theropod locomotion to plant evolution in the Jurassic period. We are committed to accuracy and curiosity.
